Recently Ciprian joined the MOJO world and has since brought a collection of excellent WordPress and HTML themes along with him. We only felt it appropriate to feature his great work and let you all know about this WordPress rockstar from Romania.
1. How did you first get involved with WordPress?
About 2 years and a half ago, I was searching for the best CMS that fits my needs. I tested Drupal for half a year, then Joomla. Ironically, WordPress was last. It was love at first sight. I did not develop in anything else but WordPress since. I’ve also participated in WordCamp Romania (my country) as a speeker last year in Bucharest. The WordPress community is great, a lot of fun and interesting people.
2. What can a buyer expect from Shade and Golden WordPress themes? What makes your WordPress themes unique?
Golden WordPress theme is a fixed design, a gallery page with lightbox, drop down menus a portfolio page with a lot of options and a sexy slider that looks like it was sculpted inside the screen. If buyers are looking for a golden design this is it. It’s not too yellow and not to dark and has a lot of well designed and coded pages, a few widgets and a admin panel that helps to modify almost everything you need in the theme.
Shade WordPress theme is much more complex. Besides what the Golden theme has, shade comes with multiple slideshows, multiple header and footer background colors, a few interesting custom pages and a even more useful admin panel, made especially for the theme.
Both themes are WordPress 3.0 + ready and work out of the box (no extra plugins or anything else). As for the uniqueness, the design for once, they both have custom made designs, with inspiration from here and there but are based on a unique idea and combination of colors and spaces to make them as they are.
3. Where do you get your inspiration and where do you see the WordPress market evolving?
I look at other themes and try to find what they are missing and then make it better. Much better. Sometimes I see a theme that I like and combine it with 2 or 3 other themes I came across at some point in time and try to combine their design and visual hierarchy creating a new concept that’s based on them all but looks sometimes completely different in every way. Other times I just think of how I would like a theme to be better for me and I just start to build it.
The WordPress market has huge potential. Right now there are thousands of premium WordPress themes that are of very high quality and that are being sold like crazy on all kinds of marketplaces or individual websites. All I can predict is that WordPress is going up, especially now with the new and improved version 3.0 that brings a lot of stuff one step further.WordPress is a great place for creativity, business and fun.
4. What can MOJO-Themes expect from you in the future?
I am always going to be here and give any type of support for my themes. If you’re a buyer and you find any kind of bug, broken script or incompatibility, please let me know and I will be on it as fast as I can. Everything that’s a bug will be done for free, so don’t hesitate to contact me!
I do have a template in the works that uses Google’s new javascript font system. Not sure when I will be ready with it but this one’s going to be a interesting HTML template..
