Recently MOJO-Themes hit the two year mark and in that time frame we’ve seen some awesome items come into the marketplace. Over that span, themes have become more advanced in terms of functionality and design but also platforms like WordPress have update quite a bit as well. For the most part we feel like we do a pretty good job of making sure the marketplace stays up to date with the only the best items but like always, we can improve on that.
Having said that, it is time for us to run a marketplace audit to make sure we only have items that are up to date and being supported on the marketplace. The MOJO crew will be evaluating every single item on the MOJO-Themes marketplace again. Each item must be up to date, work with latest version of the platform the item is built on top of and the seller must be continually supporting their items as well.
Attention Sellers: Here’s a checklist for you to make sure you’re in good standing:
• UPDATES — Each item needs to be updated and work on the latest version of the platform you built your item for. For example, a WordPress theme must work with the current version of WordPress.
• DEMOS — We will also be reviewing your live demos to make sure they work properly. We have noticed a few recently where the live demo was not working and the items are being deactivated immediately and the seller will be notified to fix the live demo before it will be reactivated.
• SUPPORT — In short, you’re all selling “Premium” products, therefore, we like to see support being done by our sellers. We know all of our sellers do an AMAZING job already but if there’s any items being neglected we have no choice but to deactivate the item.
• SORTING — We will be editing the categories that are chosen for your items. Chances are that an item is not a photography, blog, landing page, portfolio, HTML, WordPress, Joomla, email template, magazine, real estate etc. all in one. This has caused a lot of issues with our search results. If they are all of these categories then it must be amazing item, so you wouldn’t have to worry about us auditing it.
