    Hi there,

    i have just a simple question. How do i change the effect of the nivo slider to “fade” only?

    Opencart 1.5.2
    Theme Rustik

    Any Idea? I already sent a support ticket a week ago…

    If i change the the file in “catalog/view/javascript/jquery/nivo-slider/jquery.nivo.slider.pack.js” the effect from “random” to “slide”, nothing happens at all.

    Where do i have to change this?
    Pls help me.

    hey.

    You are making change in worng file. Look at this code in which file its place  (script mostly load in fotter or with slider code )

    <script type=”text/javascript”>

    $(window).load(function() {

    $(‘#slider’).nivoSlider();

    });

    </script>

    once you have findout  add a line for effect   (effect: ‘random’, )  like this way

    <script type=”text/javascript”>

    $(window).load(function() {

    $(‘#slider’).nivoSlider();

    effect: ‘random’, // Specify sets like: ‘fold,fade,sliceDown’

    });

    </script>

    I hop you get it

    Hi amjad360,

    i dont find the code part since opencart has no footer.php or header.php. I dont know where to look. Is it a file within my custom-template or somewhere else?

    Thanks a lot!

    Cheers,

    Why you dont ask to Theme Rustik’s  author where he place that code.
